“Aquarium” is a cultural phenomenon that once shaped the development of Russian-language music for decades to come. And today, remaining true to its spirit of freedom, “Aquarium” is neither nostalgia nor a repetition of the past, but a living dialogue with the present moment. Over half a century, more than one generation of listeners has changed, yet “Aquarium” remains an iconic band at whose center stands Boris Borisovich Grebenshikov — poet, composer, musician, and one of the most significant figures of contemporary culture.

Today "Aquarium" is back, and once again sets out on a world tour to present its new album “Strange News from a Distant Star.” (In Russian: "Странные Новости с Далекой Звезды")

Every show played by Boris Grebenshikov and his band is more than just a performance. It is a journey through musical worlds, where legendary “Aquarium” songs, the soundtrack to the lives of several generations — meet brand-new compositions filled with tragedy, fresh poetic language, subtle irony, and the unmistakable spirit of BG.
Alongside the new material, the concert will feature songs that have long since become modern classics of Russian-language rock scene and part of its cultural code — written across different decades, yet still alive, relevant, and open to new interpretation.
