Roger Waters and Harry Waters unveiled the project in April 2026 with a global search for the band’s lead vocalist, looking for someone able to capture the voice Roger had during Pink Floyd’s formative years. Nearly 3,000 singers from around the world submitted audition videos. After Harry Waters personally reviewed every submission, the search was narrowed to 40 finalists and then eight vocalists for the final stage.
The role ultimately went to Clifton David Broadbridge, a Canadian-born, Nashville-based vocalist who regularly performs with Classic Albums Live. He secured his place in the band following an in-person audition with Harry Waters.
Harry Waters grew up immersed in the music of Pink Floyd and began playing piano at the age of eight. By 19, he was already touring internationally. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with artists including Roger Waters, Eddie Vedder, Tom Jones, Marianne Faithfull, Ween, Primus, Ozric Tentacles, Claypool Lennon Delirium and Frog Brigade. He has also performed nearly 100 shows with Brit Floyd.
With exceptional musicianship, an authentic sound and a vocalist selected through a worldwide search, Roger Waters Presents LEGACY offers a powerful and faithful celebration of one of the most significant catalogues in rock music.
